Daze Shredder

Daze Shredder is a nearly Mono-Black aggressive deck designed to rush the opponent with creatures that punch way above their mana rate. Nethergoyf, Moonshadow, and the deck’s namesake Super Shredder can get huge fast, especially when accelerated with Dark Ritual. Mishra’s Bauble, Strip Mine, and Fetchlands are excellent enablers that grow your creatures while providing additional utility with almost no deckbuilding cost. Such “Go Tall” strategies are normally vulnerable to spot removal, but the interaction suite of Daze and Thoughtseize are effective at protecting your monsters long enough for them to finish the job. The card advantage generated from Treasure Cruise, Lurrus of the Dream-Den, and Mishra’s Bauble enables the deck to grind well into the late game even if the initial rush is stymied. This deck tends to be strong against combo decks, but can struggle against aggressive decks like Mardu Energy. - GeckoS
