URx Lessons

Lessons is a control deck based around the namesake "Lesson" card type that quickly creates a critical mass value engine. It utilizes Divide By Zero and Pop Quiz to wish for a variety of answers along with the game-ending Improvisation Capstone.

The deck scales with having Lessons in its graveyard, most notably by Gran-Gran discounting every non-creature spell as a 1-drop, Accumulated Wisdom being a 2-mana instant draw 3 and straight up Ancestral Recall with Gran-Gran, and Combustion Technique being scaling exiling red removal. Tablet of Discovery is card draw and ramp for the deck, and Thor, God of Thunder packs a large flying Snapcaster Mage that burns on every nonland cast.

There are 3 main versions: Izzet, Jeskai splashing for mostly Jeskai Revelation, and Temur splashing for Questing Druid and Origin of Metalbending. - Viperfang
