Mono-Green Devotion

Mono Green Devotion is one of the most iconic decks of Historic since Utopia Sprawl got added to the format. The deck aims to generate insane amounts of mana to cast spells like Storm the Festival, Karn, the Great Creator, Cavalier of Thorns, or Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines. Most notably, Karn offers the deck a way out of most tricky situations, while also taking advantage of the mana you produce. 

The main ways of achieving the mana to cast these big threats are Fanatic of Rhonas, Nykthos, Shrine of Nyx, and Kiora, Behmoth Beckoner untapping any of the other options. As Nykthos can make ultra-explosive turns, the deck may even look like a storm deck to your opponent, as you are sometimes making so much mana that you are almost vomiting your whole deck onto the battlefield in one turn. -Käpälä
